Television: The cable TV system, to all apartments, has been digitally upgraded and now offers a huge range of UK TV programmes (approx.60 and includes BBC Radio) as well as Spanish TV (8), French (6) & German (50). A DVD/CD player is linked to each TV set.
Wheelchair access: The whole pool area has been re-tiled and this goes right around the building especially providing the elderly with a new sloping hard pathway from the car park to the back of the building. Free of steps, it leads to the entrances of the apartments where Apts.C & D are on the ground floor and access is up 2-3 steps. The Apt.C has wheelchair access. Apt.E, also at ground level, has wheelchair access.
Domestic animals: These (pets) are not permitted nor is music allowed around the pool (out of consideration for the other guests and for the neighbours).
Electricity for air-conditioningis meter-read & charged at cost (this also applies in winter where the same powerful units are also being used for heating).
Wi-Fi ADSL Broadband: This facility, fast and offering an 86% signal strength, is very successful and much used and welcomed by very many clients. There is no charge for this 24-hour service which covers all apartments and the pool area.
Cots & high chairs can be hired at €18.00 & €12.00 respectively per week.
Car hire: Very special competitive car-hire rates are available to us via Sol-Mar, the region's No.1 company, whose HQ is in Jávea. Please ask for tariffs before booking elsewhere (assistance with hire car problems is only given to those who book through us). A car is essential in spite of our proximity to facilities.
Parking: A large car park (invisible to passing traffic) can be seen to the side of the building.
Winter Lets: We also offer long-term winter lets. The heating is provided by means of the air-conditioning units and is meter-read and charged at cost (hence the reduction in winter rentals, by some €40 per week, to €135 per week).
Group bookings: The complex can be let to groups by special arrangement and, to secure this facility, such bookings need to be made very early. A bus can be arranged to bring groups from the airports (Alicante, 65km and/or Valencia, 125km).
Restaurants: A detailed listing is supplied to all clients before arrival.
Other features: Terra Mitica Theme Park is within easy motoring distance (a short hop down AP7 motorway) as are the excellent Aqualandia swim-park and MundoMar (dolphins). All three are just outside Benidorm. The fabulous new Science & Oceanographic parks (5000 different fish) at Valencia make for a spectacular day's outing.
Airports: We are approximately equi-distant from Alicante (65km) and Valencia (125km) airports (hire cars can be arranged at both).
Sporting activities: Golf: We are ideally placed for golf - the nearest, Jávea GC is less than 5 minutes away. A 9-hole course, more difficult than it looks, has superb views of Montgó dominating Jávea (Green fees approx. Euros 80). Towards Denia (c.15 minutes) is La Sella GC a beautiful 18-hole course. Further afield (c.35 minutes) there is an excellent course at Oliva (18-holes, designed by Ballesteros) and, south of Valencia, the famous 18-hole championship links course at El Saler.
Other activities include mountain walking or www.cbmwalkers.org, green bowling, rock climbing (notably in the Jalón valley) - or climbing our own mountain, Montgó, which overlooks Jávea www.freetimecb.com/walking.htm.
Cultural activities : Concerts Costa Blanca -winter clients especially may be interested in our regular trips to the magnificent new opera house in Valencia. We also support/promote concerts at the new theatre in Teulada. Join our mailing list. Jávea also has a thriving amateur dramatics company Javea Players.
For group bookings the building has the capacity to accommodate 24 people (maximum 22 adults) in five separate apartments although all apartments can be booked weekly and separately.
Each apartment has a large living/ dining area, separate kitchen & full bathroom with balcony overlooking the pool and gardens.
The apartments designated B & D have three bedrooms (one double, and two twin-bedded) and are on the left side of the building as seen in the main photo (Apt.B is the upper one). The apartments designated A & C have two bedrooms (both twin-bedded) and are on the right side of the building (Apt.A is the upper one). All balconies are furnished with chairs and tables. Apartment E has its own enclosed shaded terrace with table/chairs and contains a large double bed and, in a small separate walk-through room, a pair of bunks accordingly suitable only for children although one adult can be accepted with prior agreement (though there is a certain lack of privacy).
All bathrooms have shower, basin, bidet, electric hair-dryer & WC (except Apt. E which does not have a bidet). All apartments are equipped with iron, ironing board and electric wall-mounted hair-dryer as well as the usual kitchen equipment & facilities including toaster, microwave, English gas cooker with eye-level grill & coffee maker.
The 'kidney-shaped' pool (approx. 12½ x 7m) has been re-tiled with underwater lights. The BBQ, pool surroundings and the covered area for relaxation, are well furnished for dining and relaxation as there are plenty of chairs and tables as well as sun loungers & sunshades. We offer air-conditioning, heating, new bathrooms, cable TV & DVD/CD, microwaves, new beds & bedroom furniture. A free 24-hr ASDL Wi-Fi Broadband facility covers all apartments & pool area - a great advantage for property seekers. Campobello can accommodate groups up to 24 people (very advanced booking essential). The BBQ/pool area has been fully re-tiled.
The floodlighting of the palm trees and pool area runs from Easter to the end of October.

Tariffs for the winter 2012/13 have been reduced and set at Euro 135 per week per apartment with heating now being provided via the air-conditioning facility of each apartment. The electricity for the air-conditioning unit, whether for heating or cooling, is meter-read and charged at cost). The weekly heating costs in winter 2011/2012 fell between €18 - €27 per apartment (thus less than the rental reduction but most importantly this permitted clients to be as warm as they wished and as it was widely accepted by clients we will continue heating in this manner.
Normal domestic consumption of water, gas, electricity are included.
Deposit: A deposit is payable upon booking of approx. one third on signature of rental agreement; the rental balance falls due 6 weeks before arrival. A returnable duration-based security deposit (£150 - £400 or € 200 - €500) per apartment is payable with
the rental balance and is returned within 14 days of the end of the rental by Internet bank transfer.
Winter lets run from 3rd Nov. 2012 to 22nd March 2013. Linen (including sheets, tea towels, bath towels & bath mats, etc.) is supplied and changed weekly and for which a nominal laundry charge of Euro 10.00 pp/per week is made as well as a single contribution to final cleaning of €50.00. The Xmas/New Year 2013/14 supplement will be €50 a week per apartment.
Group bookings: Campobello is ideally suited for group or family bookings but these have to be arranged well in advance in order to secure all five units. A group taking three (of the 5) units is acceptable but if a group requires 4 units then it is incumbent upon them to book the whole building for themselves (or any 5th client from outside the group would be overwhelmed !). Campobello can sleep 22 adults and 2 children. The unit known as Apt.E has a double bed and bunk beds in a small extra room and which are consequently not suitable for adults).
